After your exam and fitting, we give you a copy. You can fill it at any of our offices or anywhere else, and you never have to buy from us to get it.
Glasses
Your glasses prescription is yours after the exam. Ask the front desk, or the doctor, for a printed or emailed copy.
Contact lenses
Your contact lens prescription is yours after the fitting is done and the doctor has checked how the lenses fit.
At any office
A copy from one office is the same as a copy from another. Ask for it wherever you are seen.
Questions about your prescription
Can I get my prescription without buying glasses from you?
Yes. We give you a copy after the exam and fitting, and you can fill it anywhere.
How do I ask for a copy later?
Call any office or send the form on the contact page. We send it to you or to the shop you name.
Does a prescription ever run out?
Yes. It has an end date, which the doctor tells you at the visit, and you need a new exam after that.
